Hannah Castillo: Welcome to the love your calm podcast mini meditations to help you slow down and find your balance in this fast paced world.
Hello and welcome. Thank you for joining me today for this short meditation. My name is Hannah and I'm so happy you're here.
This week's meditation uses the affirmation I am at peace.
Life is hectic. It's easy to feel anxious, sad, overwhelmed. Today, let's take a few minutes to use this powerful affirmation to slow down and create create a little peace in our lives.
Let's get started.
Begin by taking a moment to find a position that is comfortable. Allow yourself to shift around and take any movements you might need before settling in for this practice. I am at peace consider for a moment how these words can serve you as you go through your day. How approaching your day with this affirmation may help to shift your mindset. May help you to meet the stresses of the day from a calmer, more centered place.
I invite you to join me in taking a couple of minutes to really focus on this affirmation. To give yourself permission to practice what it would feel like to be at peace. To be able to return to this peaceful state whenever you need it.
When you are ready, let's start by taking three deep breaths.
Inhale slowly and exhale completely, beginning to release any stress.
Inhale fully and exhale, letting go of any tension.
Take another breath like this on your own, using your breath to soften any tightness you may be feeling.
I am at peace.
Hold this affirmation and consider for a moment how it might feel to approach your day from this place of peace, to remain at peace when faced with challenges, and to use this sense of peace to help you navigate any stresses you may experience.
I am at peace.
Give yourself permission to relax as your mind begins to quiet, your body continues to soften.
When it is comfortable for you. Take one final round of breath on your own, breathing in the sense of calm that has settled in around you during this short practice.
When you are ready, gently open your eyes.
If you would like. Take the opportunity to repeat this affirmation one final time as you prepare to return to your day.
I am at peace.
