Hannah Castillo: Welcome to the love your calm podcast mini meditations to help you slow down and find your balance in this fast paced world.
Hello and welcome. My name is Hannah and whether this is your first time listening or you've been tuning in every week since the first episode, I'm so glad you're here. That you've chosen to set aside a few minutes today to join me for this short meditation. This week's episode will help you to manage any stress you may be experiencing by helping you to slow down, let go of any worries and connect with yourself.
Let's get started.
Begin by taking a deep inhale through your nose. Pause for just a second and then exhale completely.
Let your breath begin to settle into its natural rhythm as you find a position that feels good for you today. If it is comfortable for you, consider closing your eyes or maybe just soften your gaze. When you are ready, begin to shift your focus back to your breath.
Inhale fully, feeling your lungs fill with air and your stomach gently rise.
And exhale slowly, allowing any tension you may be feeling to leave with the breath.
Let's do that one more time. Inhale and exhale, arriving in this moment, fully present for this practice.
As your breath continues evenly, allow your body to begin to relax, letting any stress flow out with the exhale, reminding yourself let any stress you are experiencing is temporary.
Whatever it is you are going through will shift in time.
Feel your body continue to relax as you let go of any worries and rest here in this moment, safe in the awareness that everything passes. I
n time, this will shift.
Give yourself permission to welcome in the calm you to fully let go of any remaining tension.
Take one final round of breath here in this peaceful place.
And when you are ready, begin to bring yourself back to the space around you. Take your time to bring your awareness back, taking any movements you may need and in your own time, gently open your eyes.
Carry this moment of calm with you as you prepare to return to your day, knowing that you can return to this practice whenever you would like.
Thank you for joining me today. If it was your first time listening, I hope you'll consider joining me again next week. New episodes come out every Monday.
