Hannah Castillo: Welcome to the love your Calm podcast mini meditations to help you slow down and find your balance in this fast paced world.
Hello and welcome. My name is Hannah and I want to start by thanking you for being here today. It is my goal to help share these short guided meditations with as many people as possible to help people all around the world connect with the calm within. So thank you for listening today.
This week's meditation will help you slow down and connect with yourself one breath at a time. So let's get started.
Begin by finding a position that feels comfortable for you today. Wiggle around a little if you need to, taking any movements that feel good for you until you're able to find a position that supports whatever you need today. If it feels good for you, consider closing your eyes or maybe just soften your gaze.
Allow your breath to continue here as it settles into its natural rhythm, each inhale bringing in the nourishment you need, each exhale releasing what is no longer necessary. Give yourself permission to begin to relax here, to allow this breath to support you.
Sometimes it is easy to get stuck in the cycle of worry or overwhelm. Rehearsing for some future event or replaying something that happened in the past. Today I invite you to consider this present moment, to take comfort in the present, in this breath.
To give yourself permission to release what has already happened, and to trust yourself to manage whatever is to come.
So that you can return your focus to this moment, this breath, and embrace the opportunity it gives you to pause to set down the worry, to let go of the what ifs and recognize that life happens one breath at a time.
Allow yourself to fully arrive here in this moment, to anchor yourself in this breath. And when you are ready, take one final inhale here and exhale slowly, sealing in this practice.
When it feels comfortable for you, begin to bring your awareness back to the space around you. There's no rush. Take any movement you need and in your own time, slowly open your eyes.
As you return to your day, hold this awareness that you can return to your breath anytime you need to take this pause.
