Hannah Castillo: Welcome to the Love youe Calm podcast. Mini meditations to help you slow down and find your balance in this fast paced world.

Hello and welcome.

My name is Hannah and I'm so happy you're here today. Thank you for spending a few minutes of your day here with me.

As many of us prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving and even more of us begin to head into the holidays, it seemed only natural to focus this week's meditation on gratitude. Practicing gratitude consistently can help you to shift your mindset, improve your mood, and can even help you navigate challenges more effectively.

So let's get started today.

Let's begin by taking an intentional breath, giving ourselves a chance to begin to let go of any tension that may already be building up as the holidays approach. Inhale deeply, feeling your stomach rise and exhale completely, beginning to release any tightness. Allow your breath to continue naturally as you take a moment to find a position that feels comfortable today. When you're ready, gently close your eyes or maybe soften your gaze as you set settle into this moment.

Allow your breath to flow naturally. Feel yourself becoming more present, settling into this moment, your breath naturally slowing, deepening.

As you give yourself permission to relax into this practice, I invite you to begin to bring to mind something or someone you're grateful for. It could be a person, a moment, or even a simple pleasure. Allow this feeling of gratitude to fill your heart.

Inhale deeply here, inviting in the warmth of this gratitude and as you exhale, let it start to radiate throughout your body.

Take a moment here to reflect on how acknowledging this gratitude made you feel. Maybe it brings a sense of peace, joy, love. Allow yourself to fully experience these emotions as you continue with your natural breath.

Begin to think about the small things in your life that often go unnoticed.Perhaps it's the comfort of being wrapped in your favorite blanket, the first sip of your morning coffee, the sound of a loved one's laughter.

Acknowledge these moments and let them fill you with appreciation.Inhale deeply here and exhale slowly, releasing any feelings of neglect or doubt. Consider repeating this simple affirmation to yourself.

I am grateful for this moment. I am grateful for my journey.

Take a couple of rounds of breath here on your own, allowing your heart to fill with gratitude, allowing this affirmation to settle in, releasing any lingering tension and giving yourself permission to focus on the blessings in your life.

When you are ready, gently bring your awareness back to the space around you.Take any movements you may need and when it is comfortable for you, slowly open your eyes. Carry this affirmation with you as you return to your day.

I am grateful for this moment. I am grateful for my journey.

Thank you for joining me for today's meditation. If this was your first time listening, I hope you'll join me again next week. If you've been here before, welcome back.I'm truly grateful for everyone who has taken the time to join me for these short meditations. And as always, thank you for helping me spread the word that a few minutes of meditation really can make a difference.

Until next week.
