Hannah Castillo: Welcome to the Love Your Calm podcast. Mini meditations to help you slow down and find your balance in this fast paced world.

Hello and welcome.

My name is Hannah and I'm so happy you're here today. This week's episode is another listener request, so before we get started, just a reminder that you can reach out to me on Instagram or through my website if you have a topic you'd like to suggest for a future episode. I'm always glad to hear from you.

This week's meditation is focused on self love. It uses powerful affirmations to help you connect with yourself and embrace your worth.

So let's get started.

Begin by finding a comfortable position. You can choose a seated position that feels comfortable for you today, or maybe you feel better lying down. Whatever feels best for you today. Take any movements you may need as you give yourself permission to begin to relax into your space. When you are ready, gently close your eyes or maybe soften your gaze if that feels more comfortable.

Let's take a couple of intentional breaths here. Inhale fully through your nose, feeling your lungs fill with air, your stomach rise. Hold for a moment and exhale completely through your mouth, feeling your stomach fall.

One more breath just like this. Breathe in, hold for a moment and exhale slowly as any tension you may be holding begins to flow out with your breath.

Give yourself permission to continue to relax into this practice. As your breath settles into its natural rhythm, I invite you to bring your attention to your heart, beginning to prepare for today's affirmations.

With each affirmation, feel a sense of acceptance growing within you. Acknowledge any self doubt that arises, letting it pass without judgment, guiding your focus back to the love and kindness you deserve as you listen to these powerful affirmations.

I am worthy of love and kindness.

I embrace my imperfections.

I am enough just as I am.

As you continue to breathe, take a moment to reflect on what self love means to you. Consider the qualities you appreciate about yourself. Allow this appreciation to fill your awareness. Feel it filling you, nourishing you.

Take a couple of deep breaths here on your own, inhaling love and exhaling doubt.

When you're ready, gently bring your awareness back to the present moment. Maybe wiggle your fingers and toes. And when it feels comfortable for you, slowly open your eyes. Take note of any differences you may feel after this short practice.Carry this sense of self love with you throughout your day, reminding yourself that you are worthy of love. You are enough just as you are.

Thank you for joining me today for this short practice. It means so much to me that you chose to spend a few minutes of your day here. If this is your first time listening, I hope you'll join me again next week. And if you've been listening for a while, thank you for joining me for these few minutes of calm every week.

Please consider sharing this episode with a friend who you think might find it beneficial, or maybe even share it on your social media. And if you do, be sure to tag me so I can say thanks.

And as always, thank you for helping me to spread the word that a few minutes of meditation really can make a difference.

Until next week...
