Hannah Castillo: Welcome to the Love Your Calm Podcast. Mini Meditations to help you slow down and find your balance in this fast-paced world.

Hello and welcome.

This week's practice encourages you to take a few minutes to acknowledge and appreciate your strengths. To express gratitude for your journey,

Let's get started.

Begin by finding a comfortable position. You can be seated or lying down. Whatever feels best for you today. If it feels good for you, gently close your eyes.Or if it's more comfortable, consider softening your gaze. Take a deep breath in through your nose, allowing your lungs to fill completely, feeling your stomach rise, hold it for just a moment and then exhale slowly through your mouth, releasing any worry or tension you may be experiencing.

Feel your body begin to relax as your breath settles into its natural rhythm. With each inhale, invite in a sense of warmth and appreciation and with each exhale, let go of any negativity or self-doubt that may be lingering, releasing it with the breath.

I invite you to begin to turn your awareness inward. Take a moment here to reflect and acknowledge all that you are, your strengths, all of the unique qualities that make up who you are. Take a moment to reflect on your journey, the challenges you've overcome, the lessons you've learned along the way. Consider repeating this powerful affirmation to yourself.

I am grateful for you.

Let this affirmation settle in, creating a space of self-love, of appreciation. As you continue to breathe, think about the small things you appreciate about yourself, perhaps as a talent, a moment of kindness or maybe your resilience. Allow these thoughts to fill you with positivity, with gratitude.

If any negative thoughts arise, gently acknowledge them without any judgment.Remind yourself it's okay to experience self-doubt. It doesn't define your worth. And simply return your focus to the affirmation.

I am grateful for you.

Take one final round of breath here on your own,

And when you are ready, gently shift your awareness back to the present moment. Take any movements you may need and when it feels comfortable for you, slowly open your eyes. Carry this sense of gratitude and self-appreciation with you throughout your day, remembering that you are deserving of love and kindness, especially from yourself.
