Hannah Castillo:  Welcome to the Love Your Calm podcast. Mini meditations to help you slow down and find your balance in this fast-paced world.

Hello and welcome.

Sometimes navigating the ups and downs of life can be challenging. Even exhausting. And in these stressful times. It's even more important to take time to check in with yourself. So this week's practice encourages you to take a few minutes to replenish your emotional energy, to connect with yourself and give yourself permission to honor your needs.

Lets get started.

Begin by finding a comfortable position. Whatever feels good for you today. If it feels safe for you, consider closing your eyes or maybe just soften your gaze. Let's take an intentional breath here together, inhale completely through your nose, allowing your lungs to fill your stomach to rise. Hold for a moment and then exhale slowly through your mouth, releasing any tension or heaviness you may be carrying today.

As you breathe naturally now, your breath begins to find its own steady rhythm. With each inhale, invite in a sense of renewal and with each exhale, let go of any emotional weight or fatigue that may be lingering in your mind or your body.

I invite you to bring your awareness to how you're feeling right now. Take a moment to acknowledge any emotions or sensations that come up for you. Maybe it's fatigue, sadness, or maybe overwhelm. Give yourself permission to feel these emotions without judgment, recognizing that it's okay to feel however you're feeling right now, to experience whatever emotion you have.

As you continue to breathe, visualize each inhale as a wave of healing energy washing over you, replenishing your spirit. Imagine this energy flowing through your body, filling you, soothing any areas of tension or discomfort.

With each exhale, release any emotional burdens that feel too heavy to carry right now. Visualize yourself putting them down. This act alone, leaving you feeling lighter and more at ease. Give yourself permission to let go of anything that is no longer serving you.

If any intrusive thoughts or worries arise, acknowledge them without any judgment. Gently remind yourself that it's okay to take this time for you. You deserve this time of rest and renewal.

Take one final round of breath here on your own, relaxing into this space, breathing into this calm,

And when you are ready, begin to bring your awareness back to the space around you. Take any movement you may need and when it feels comfortable for you in your own time, slowly open your eyes.

Carry this sense of renewal with you as you return to your day, knowing that you can return to this practice anytime you need help to prioritize your emotional well being.
