Love Your Calm: Mini Meditations
Breathe, Darling. Breathe: A Mini Meditation
Have you taken a breath today? A full, intentional breath? It's amazing how easy it is to go all day and forget to breathe. To really breathe.
Sometimes we forget how much power there is in taking a breath. An intentional breath. Pausing to take a breath and check in with yourself can help to shift your mindset. It can help you to remember your own power and make more intentional choices...and that can make all the difference.
This week's soothing meditation invites you to remember the power of the breath. Breathe, darling. Breathe.

Hannah Castillo: Welcome to the Love Your Calm Podcast. Mini meditations to help you slow down and find your balance in this fast-paced world.
Hello and welcome.
Sometimes we forget how much power there is in taking a breath. A full, intentional breath. Will it change the world. Probably not. Will it drastically change your circumstances? Again, probably no. But pausing to take a breath can help you shift your mindset. It can help you remember your own power and make more intentional choices. And that can make all the difference.
This week's practice invites you to remember the power of the breath.
Let's get started.
Begin by taking a moment to find a position that feels comfortable for you today. Take any cues from your body and choose a position that feels good for you. When you're ready, consider closing your eyes if that feels safe for you. Or maybe just lower your gaze.
As you settle into your breath, I invite you to bring your awareness to the present moment. Notice how your body feels against the surface beneath you. Take note of all the ways your body feels supported right now. A reminder that in this moment you are safe. With each inhale, invite in a sense of calm, and with each exhale begin to let go of any stress or worry that may be lingering within you.
As you continue to breathe, imagine each inhale filling you with peace and tranquility. And with each exhale, visualize releasing any tension, letting go of worries, watching them drift away like a feather floating gently from you in the breeze.
Consider taking this opportunity to gently remind yourself,
Breathe, darling. Breathe.
Using this as a comforting mantra,
Take a moment here to embrace the stillness. Your breath continues to flow naturally, creating space within you for calm. Serenity. Feel the gentle rhythm of your breath anchoring you in this moment.
Take one final round of breath here on your own, and when you are ready, begin to bring yourself back to the space around you. Take any movements you may need, taking note of the feeling of calm you have created during this short practice and when it feels comfortable for you in your own time, slowly open your eyes. Carry this sense of calm with you today, knowing that you can return to this practice anytime you need it.
