Speaker A: Welcome to the Love Your Calm podcast. Mini meditations to help you slow down and find your balance in this fast-paced world.
Hello and welcome.
If you're listening to this episode the week it was released, we are just stepping into a new year. So this week's episode is an invitation not to race ahead and push yourself to set goals, but to slow down, to reflect, to use this season to decide more intentionally what you would like to carry forward.
Let's get started.
Take a moment to find a position that feels good for you. Whatever feels comfortable today. You can take any movements you might need to help you really settle in. If it feels safe for you, consider closing your eyes. Or maybe just soften your gaze.
As your breath begins to find its natural rhythm, start to shift your focus to the idea of intention. Every inhale brings the possibility of intention, and every exhale is an opportunity to release what you no longer wish to carry.
As you breathe evenly here, I invite you to visualize the elements of your life that you wish to carry forward. Picture them like seeds you're planting in fertile soil. What do you want to nurture? Perhaps it's a passion project, a relationship, Or maybe even a new habit. Whatever comes up for you. Hold that image in your mind as you breathe in the energy of intention.
With each breath, imagine watering those seeds, giving them the space and nourishment they need to grow. Acknowledge any doubts or fears that arise, but know that you have the power to nourish them. You are in control of what you choose to nurture. Life often feels like a whirlwind, with constant demands pulling you in every direction. But this season offers an opportunity, a chance to slow down and to intentionally choose what you want to nurture in your life.
It's about more than just letting go. It's a chance to recognize the beauty in this stillness and the power of choice. Take a couple of rounds of breath here, Embracing what you would like to nurture as you move forward. And when you are ready, begin to shift your awareness back to the space around you.
Take any movements that feel good. And slowly, in your own time, gently open your eyes, carrying this sense of intention with you into your day.
Thank you for joining me for this week's short meditation. My name is Hannah and it means so much to me that you are here. You've chosen to spend a few minutes of your day meditating with me. If you found this meditation helpful, be sure and share it with a friend. Or maybe even two. Word of mouth is the best way for this small podcast to grow. And as always, thank you for helping me to spread the word that including even a few minutes of meditation in your day really can make a difference.
Until next week...
