Hannah Castillo: Welcome to the Love Your Calm podcast. Mini meditations to help you slow down and find your balance in this fast-paced world.

Hello and welcome.

This week's meditation is focused on finding balance, a harmony between your body and your mind that can help you create a sense of peace.

Let's get started.

Take a moment to settle into a position that feels good for you today, whatever that means for you, giving your body permission to sink into the support of the earth beneath you. If it feels comfortable for you, consider closing your eyes or maybe just lower your gaze.

As your breath starts to find its natural rhythm, I invite you to begin to shift your awareness to your body. Taking note of the feeling of the surface beneath you, feeling the weight of your limbs, the rise and fall of your chest. Each breath is an invitation to connect, to begin to find harmony within.

The balance that exists between the body and the mind. The way they complement one another, Rely on one another. Consider picturing your body and your mind as two dancers moving in sync with one another,

Moving together in a graceful duet. When one is tense, the other can feel it and when one is calm, the other finds ease. Take a moment here to picture them finding their rhythm together. To acknowledge the feeling of peace that this balance brings. Reflect on how this balance shows up for you in your everyday life.

Maybe it's in giving yourself a moment of quiet. Maybe it's the ability to adapt and flow with life's challenges. Maybe it's taking a moment to listen to your body and what it needs. Maybe it's honoring the pause.

Take a couple of rounds of breath here as you hold this idea of balance.

Invite in a sense of peace.

And when you are ready, begin to bring yourself back to the space around you. Take any movements you might need and slowly, in your own time, open your eyes, feeling more at ease and ready to return to your day.
