Welcome to the Love Your Calm podcast. Mini meditations to help you slow down and find your balance in this fast-paced world.

Hello and welcome.

If you've been feeling overwhelmed, you're definitely not alone. This week's meditation explores how stillness can be a powerful tool. It uses a simple affirmation to help you embrace the stillness and begin to build resilience.

Let's get started.

Find a comfortable position. Whatever feels best for you today, Give your body permission to begin to relax into the support beneath you, taking any movements you might need to help you really settle in. If it feels safe for you, consider closing your eyes or maybe soften your gaze.

Let your breath flow naturally as you continue to settle into this space. There's no need to change anything. Simply take note of your breath as it begins to find its own steady rhythm.

As your breath continues naturally, I invite you to bring your awareness to the idea of stillness. It's in this quiet space that you can cultivate strength. Take a moment to notice. Sense how stillness feels in your body. Acknowledge any sensations that may come up.

Without any judgment, just simply taking note. Resilience is built through your ability to adapt and respond to life's challenges.

Stillness offers you the space to reconnect with yourself to find clarity even in the middle of chaos. Take a moment here to consider a challenge you're currently facing. To reflect how embracing stillness could help you connect with the strength you need to navigate this situation.

Consider repeating this affirmation, either silently or out loud.

I find strength and stillness.

I find strength and stillness.

Take a deep breath in and embrace this affirmation. Hold it for a moment and then exhale, releasing any doubts or fears. Holding the knowledge that you are resilient and capable of navigating any challenges you may face.

Take one final round of breath here, allowing this affirmation to resonate within you.

 I find strength and stillness.

Feel the strength of your words, building resilience in your heart.

And when you are ready, begin to bring your awareness back to the space around you. Move at your own pace, taking any movement you need, taking all the time you need. And when it feels comfortable for you, slowly open your eyes.
